"I was brought up in a small Lincolnshire village where I soon developed a passion for nature. My early days were on a farm with a view to qualifying in farm management, however due to a motor cycle accident at the age of 16, which resulted in the loss of my right leg these plans were soon abandoned.
After owning a DIY shop for a number of years I had another change of career when I started a replacement window company, which after 12 successful years and at the ripe old age of 48 I sold, this early retirement gave me the time to rekindle my love of wildlife. A desire to record the beauty of our natural world led me into the fascinating and sometime frustrating world of photography".
